About Me

My journey in the Healing Arts began when I was about 12 years old.  Due to allergies, and a mild case of asthma, my mother looked for alternative ways to treat some of my ailments.  This is when I was introduced to herbs like Ginseng and Ginko Biloba.

In high school I worked at an apothecary, where I was further exposed to herbal medicine, homeopathy, supplements, and other complimentary forms of medicine.  I believe it was at this time that my thirst for holistic knowledge was initially sparked.

As an undergraduate History Major I studied herbs on the side.  I had certain allergies, and I realized early in life that allopathic medicine did not always work for me.  As I researched ways to bring my body back into balance, I was unaware of where it would ultimately lead.

In 2004 I received my first Reiki Attunement, and this was my true introduction into the Healing Arts.  I went from being just a student, to someone on the path to treating others.

In 2005 I had my second Reiki Attunement, and was well on my way to using my newfound skills as an actual practitioner.  I was surprised by the amount of people who were interested in receiving my services.

In 2006 I enrolled in school for Acupuncture.  Here I was introduced to Tai Chi, Qi Gong, and other healing modalities.  As a student I had the opportunity to have a lot of hands on practice.  Working under other massage therapists, psychologists, and various other Healing Artists, I started to build a reputation as a practitioner, and as a teacher.

In 2011 I started working as an Instructor of the Physical Arts, teaching Tai Chi, Qi Gong, and Yoga.  I was fortunate to teach at the college level.  Here I truly learned the importance of body mechanics, energy preservation, and energetic (spiritual) protection for Practitioners of the Healing Arts.

In 2014 I became a licensed Massage Therapist, and since then have worked at some of the top spas in New York City.  I have formed lasting relationships with medical practices, concierge services, five star spas and hotels, as well as personal clients.

At this point of my career I have developed my own philosophy of how to approach the body, and release tension.  Everybody has different needs, and no body is exactly like another.  At the same time everybody has needs.  Oftentimes we are unaware of what we really need, and we spend time focusing on what we want.  When you come to see me I help to bring your wants and needs into alignment, in order to deliver the product that will best enhance your life.
